facebook.

So I gave in and got a new facebook...to keep in touch with the fam and friends out of state ya know?

And I realized how much I hated it in the first place.

I really dislike status updates as of late.

Reason #1:
People who feel the need to update their status 2+ times a day. I DON'T CARE what you are doing every hour. Go to twitter if you feel the need to do such.

Reason #2:
Those who take the question: "What's on your mind?" a little too seriously. For example: "Jane Smith: biology, marathon, cats." That doesn't even really make sense, unless you think about it from a "what's literally on your mind at the moment" perspective.

Reason #3:
The person who feels they need to give me wisdom, every hour on the hour. Don't get me wrong, sharing quotes is great and all...but seriously all the time? We know you are smart, and you don't need facebook to prove it. Edit: I guess I should have said useless wisdom. (i.e. quotes from a Kardashian sister.)

Reason #4:
The person who feels that they need to put an exclamation mark after every sentence. Example: "Jane Smith: is super excited for tonight! I really cannot wait! Yay! Wahoo! Life sucks!" Really? Do you really talk like that? Because the purpose of an exclamation mark is to dictate something being said excitedly. I can't stand it. Exclaim what needs exclaiming folks.

Reason #5:
The chronic "like"-er. They never comment on anything, they just like it. I don't know why this bugs so bad, but it does. I only push "like" if its really I REALLY like.

I guess I could keep going, but I won't.

Here are some other things that I dislike:

Mafia wars requests
Stupid smile and heart request
Cause requests (Most of them are a scam, do your research folks.)
Farmville and all that other stupid shit.

I believe at this point you are thinking that I have issues or am extremely negative. I just need to vent is all.

Oh and let me finish with this little gem...

Ladies, kissy faces are not attractive.

Um...hi, I'd like to apologize for annoying you with my quote updates :) I like them though, so I'll keep doing it. This one is for you: "The next best thing to being clever is being able to quote someone who is." Teeheee :)

Jamie noooo don't let it suck you back in! Facebook is evil and uses its manipulative powers to draw us in over and over. Put your foot down! Stick it to the man!

Okay, I'm done. And yes enough with the kissy faces.

HAHA I loved this. You took the words right outta my mouth sister! I delete people as friends if they give me "page suggestions". That's just how it goes.

Bahahaaaa....I got your message but can't respond because I can't get on fb at work. Which is probably a good thing. I'm glad you find my quotes wisdomly and I am now going to google kardashian sister's quotes and see what on earth they would say that is worth quoting. Over and out.
