Mary Louise Kerr 1926-2010

My grandmother passed away Thursday morning after a long fight with diabetes, Parkinson's disease, kidney failure, and congestive heart failure. She was always a fighter, and never a complainer. These past few months, she would never complain to me of her condition or ask "Why me?" I am so relieved that she no longer suffers or ails.

I consider my Grandma Mary to be the only grandmother I really knew and had. She has the biggest heart, and knew how to love us all unconditionally.

On Tuesday my Grandpa asked her who does she love, him or me. My grandma just smiled and said Jamie and then winked at me. I will miss these moments, and I will dearly miss her.

Until we meet again.

My great-grandmother Glatis and my Grandma when I was just a few weeks old.

The love of her life for 63 years, my Grandpa.

My Grandma with her daughters.
