Well...we got married. Last Saturday...and it was perfect. We also adopted a new dog a few months ago. Her name is Princess and she's a good girl. That is her smiling above.
We (meaning mostly Tyler) rebuilt our deck. I helped screw some things down (that's what she said) and so I'm claiming some credit to helping build this beaut.
My nephew and all of my other family came into town for our wedding. This is a picture of the moment we were first reunuited. "Oh Aunt Jamie...I missed you!!" That boy sure knows how to melt my heart. And drain my pocketbook. "Oh you want 2 sno cones and some ice cream at the Bee's game? Sure here you go!" He's totally worth it.
We met 311!! By far one of the coolest things I've ever done. I will write more in another post with the pictures we got taken with them.
Daisy has a new Be-Fri (best friend in Jamie speak) and they like to eyeball me while eating dinner. On the couch. Don't judge.
I got to cross off another thing off my 25 while 25. I changed my own oil!! By myself! Take that!! I watched Tyler do it once and then while he was at work I decided to take the car by the horns and change my oil before our honeymoon. Well, I got it done and it only took 4 phone calls to Tyler to make sure I wasn't loosening (is that a word?) a bolt that would cause the engine to crash on my pretty (ha!) face. So approximately 2 hours and 3 beers later...my oil was changed! If you couldn't tell by the number of exclamation marks I'm pretty damn proud of myself.
This is a half assed attempt in proving I changed my own oil. Yes I wore those toilet cleaning gloved but in my defense they were brand new and I had to keep my nails pretty.
